Building Committee Meeting, December 19, 2023

The Building Committee held a meeting on December 19, 2023:  Vice Commodore Brian Neubauer, committee chair, provided an update on the club’s insurance claims.   He noted that the Sailing Center had been designated as the temporary new clubhouse and announced that a deck expansion, ways to maximize seating capacity and interior improvements needed to be explored.  The committee also began outlining the Site Program and Building Program for a new clubhouse.  Site Program discussion included new building size and configuration, pool size, parking needs for vehicles and club boats, fencing, landscaping, playground, firepit and other outdoor spaces.  Building Program discussion included the restaurant, interior event space, lounge, kitchen, offices, playroom, storage, outdoor seating.)
